Color is missing! A collaboration between Lemarchand and Un(d)danceBAR
Lemarchand, a Colombian dark metal band and Un(d)AbtanzBAR have teamed up for a cooperation. Mauricio Castro delivered the first blank and I added the electrical elements. Then Mauricio did a pre-master of the rock version while I created the lyrics for the German version. The text was also written by Mauricio for English and, if necessary,. Spanish version adopted, so here we could work towards six versions of the song in three languages.

Here you can find the instrumental versions with the prepared vocal tracks. I divided the vocals into two runs, because I would find it very difficult to go straight from the verse into the “black-and-white”-to change part. Therefore there are two different synths, which indicate both passages.

There is a difference between the notation version and the pure text version. In find the “black-and-white”-Part of the text version is easier and, despite the actually monotonous alternation between black and white, more varied, because the single term changes every time. I think so too, that one word per note is easier to sing, as well as changing the tone in black or white and also keeping the word. That would probably come across as very operatic, hence the change to the sheet music.
